Sign the Pledge

Please be sure you have read Bearing the Standard: A Rallying Cry to Uphold the Scriptures before signing the pledge.

In the sight of the God of Israel, and in the Name of the Master, the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus),
  I admit the sufficiency and supremacy of Scripture.
  I believe that the Word of God is enough to lead me through life;
  and I accept the truth that God’s Word deserves my submission, and is worthy of my allegiance.
  I will therefore permit
    His Word alone to establish my values,
    His Word alone to determine my beliefs,
    and His Word alone to dictate the boundaries of my behavior.
    Walking each day by the Spirit, I will allow the Scriptures in every way to be the supreme, objective guide by which I
      find,
      fix upon,
      and follow the Master Yeshua (Jesus).
Today, I pledge my life to do what the Scriptures say—to hear and obey God’s Word.
  I dedicate myself to adhere to His instructions;
  I proclaim as the purpose of my life to do as He commands;
  and, if it must be so, I am willing to endure loneliness, apparent fruitlessness, and all manner of hardship and persecution, should these be the cost of living for God, and faithfully fulfilling His Word.
From this moment on,
  I deny myself, and submit my will to the full authority of Scripture.
  I set aside all my feelings and preconceptions about what I want the Scriptures to say;
  and I surrender my interests, dreams, preferences and priorities to the supreme authority of God’s perfect Word.
As a Standard Bearer for God,
  I will read and know the Scriptures;
    I will challenge and resist the influences that are hostile to God’s Word;
      and I will change the way I spend my time, finances, and resources to align with the values of Scripture.
  I will establish Scripture as the foundation—and Messiah the goal—of all my relationships;
    I will confront sin and admonish fleshly attitudes and behavior that are opposed to the standard of the Word;
      and I will seek out and endeavor to share my daily life with others who are committed to the Scriptures.
From this day forward, I will put my dedication into action by living my life as a sold-out Standard Bearer for the Scriptures.
  I will stand firm! on the foundation of God’s Word;
  I will stand up! on the pathway of obedience;
  and I will stand out! in the field of the world for the sake of both the lost and the lukewarm.
May God be accepting of all my serving and sacrifice, causing me to step only on the perfect path of His Word, as I freely and wholeheartedly pledge my life to bearing the standard of Scripture.
